Through the close cooperation of the production, sales and research team, in the carbon dioxide transcritical direct cooling ice-making system project of the national speed skating hall, TISCO produced and supplied high-quality stainless steel pipes, stainless threaded steel bars, L-shaped C-shaped stainless steel plates and other materials for the main pipeline.
On December 30, 2021, the Fengning Pumped Storage Power Station of the State Grid serving the Beijing Green Winter Olympics was put into operation, providing a strong guarantee for the Beijing Winter Olympics venues to achieve 100% green power supply. In the construction of the first phase of the Fengning Pumped Storage Power Station, TISCO provided the key core material – 700MPa high-grade magnetic pole steel for the two generator sets in the first phase of the project. This is the highest-strength thin-gauge magnetic pole steel plate at present, and the quality has reached the international leading level.
In recent years, in order to promote the localization of high-end hydropower equipment, TISCO has continuously overcome technical difficulties and made every effort to solve the problem of key core materials in the hydropower industry. For the first time, 700MPa high-grade magnetic pole steel was applied to all 6 units of Changlongshan Pumped Storage Power Station. Since then, it has successfully supplied several pumped storage hydropower projects in Jixi, Meizhou and Fukang.
On the field, the sports equipment of athletes from various countries supported the latest achievements in scientific and technological development. This year, snowmobiles and snowmobile helmets made of TG800 carbon fiber produced by Taiyuan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. appeared at the Beijing Winter Olympics training ground, helping Chinese athletes to achieve better results. Snowmobiles are a traditional event in the Winter Olympics, but for a long time, my country has not been able to independently manufacture snowmobiles for this sport. Its technical content is high and the manufacturing process is complicated. The production and research and development have been mastered by foreign countries.
In September 2021, my country successfully developed a two-person snowmobile and a four-person snowmobile, achieving a “zero” breakthrough in domestic snowmobiles, and delivered them to the Winter Sports Center of the General Administration of Sports of the People’s Republic of China in time for athletes’ preparation training. in the official testing and certification program. The domestic snowmobile is made of TISCO TG800 carbon fiber material. The material is a new type of high-strength, high-modulus fiber with a carbon content of more than 95%. After forming, the density is only one-fifth of that of steel, and the strength is twice that of steel. The application of carbon fiber composite materials can reduce the weight of snowmobiles and reduce the degree of injury to athletes in crashes.
